Create and Cultivate

“Artists of the world, may your many different paths all lead to that infinite Ocean of beauty where wonder becomes awe, exhilaration, unspeakable joy. May your art help to affirm that true beauty which, as a glimmer of the Spirit of God, will transfigure matter, opening the human soul to the sense of the eternal. With my heartfelt good wishes!”
-- St. John Paul II, Letter to Artists (1999)

The creative impulse, whether through making art, making music, or enlivening characters, is fundamental to the human person and particularly strong in young people. JPII students have many opportunities to make and create through our award-winning performing arts and visual arts programs. Sing, dance, play, act, paint, design, create or make -- explore your creative impulse at JPII.

"I just came home from the most amazing advent concert!!! The amazing work these students have accomplished! Not just in music but in their whole personal growth. It really shows that hard work and dedication they can accomplish. I love how the JPII Community pushes students to achieve at their own personal best - in academics, their personal faith, athletics and as part of the greater whole. Our family loves this school."

"I am very proud to teach at this school and I  hope that my children will one day go here. We are blessed with a rare combination of strong, thoughtful academics, Catholic (and Christian!) values and compassionate yet strong leadership.  On top of this, our arts and athletics are authentically solid, and the school pursues constant innovation."
